Q: How do I place a rental order?
A: Ordering is easy! Browse our collection, select your items, and submit an order through our website. Our team will reach out to confirm availability and details. If you have questions prior to ordering, please email orders@bergenlinen.com or call (800) 789-8115. Nationwide shipping available.
Q: What is the typical length of rental?
A: All rentals are considered a 7 day calendar rental; the 7 day rental begins the day linens are received by renter until the return shipment or drop-off date. (Shipment date constitutes as the day the linens are actively on their way back.) If items are kept past the 7 days, there will be an additional rental week fee for each additional week.
Q: How far in advance should I reserve my rentals?
A: While ordering at least 10 days in advance is always preferred, we do understand the need for ‘emergency’ linen rentals. If you are ordering less than 10 days in advance, call (800) 789-8115 to place your order or use our contact form. Please note that our office is closed on the weekends; Friday orders will not ship out until Monday.
Q: Do you offer delivery and pickup services?
A: If you live in the New York/New Jersey and are within our service areas, delivery and pickup may be arranged (delivery charges apply). In addition, you are welcome to pick up and return your rental items directly from our facility (Monday through Friday) during regular business hours, thereby avoiding any shipping or delivery charges. Nationwide shipping available.
Q: What if I need to make changes to my order after it's placed?
A: We understand plans can change. Contact us as soon as possible to discuss any modifications. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.
Q: What happens if a rented item gets damaged?
A: Stains are expected, but loss or damage may incur additional charges. We recommend treating our linens with care to avoid any issues. All torn, burned, missing and damaged items will be charged to you at a new replacement cost.
Q: Can I cancel my rental order?
A: Yes, if you cancel your order at least 7 days from the shipment date you will receive a full refund. If order has already been filled and packed, a 10% restocking fee will be charged – and the balance refunded.
Q: Are linens cleaned before and after each rental?
A: Yes, we ensure that all rented linens are professionally cleaned, pressed and inspected after every use, guaranteeing their pristine condition.
Q: How does shipping work for linen rentals?
A: Select your items and event dates, and we'll ship the linens to you before your event. After your event, use the provided return label to send them back. If you are missing a return label, you must notify us upon receipt of your rental order. If you request afterwards, a $10.00 charge for each label will incur.
Q: Can I return ship using COD?
A: No, you cannot ship COD. Kindly contact us for a return label and packing slip to complete your return shipment.
Q: What's included in the shipping package?
A: Each shipment includes the rented linens, return packaging, and a pre-paid return label for hassle-free and eco-friendly returns.
Q: Can I track my shipment?
A: Absolutely! You'll receive tracking information as soon as your order is shipped. This way, you can monitor its progress to your doorstep.
Q: What if the linens arrive damaged or stained?
A: We carefully re-inspect each linen before shipping to ensure it's in excellent condition. In the rare instance where there is an issue, please contact us immediately to address the situation.
Q: Do you offer samples?
A: You may purchase sample color swatches (napkin size) for $2.50 each plus shipping. If you require a sample of a tablecloth that is simply a single piece rental with all the same conditions that apply to all rentals. (Complimentary samples of chair covers are available to ensure the right fit.)
Q: What are your payment options?
A: At this time payments may only be made by credit card. We accept Amex, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. If you are a tax-exempt entity and provide a certificate of exemption, you will not be charged NJ sales tax.
